You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative, is so uncomplicated it could be expressed in single words not even complete sentences. It sounds like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act.
What I'm here to discuss is the open ended nature of life. You see there are many unnatural burdens that have been placed on our feeble animal minds. Everything from fashion to machinery to society on a whole are all just creations.
These creations are not something that a natural human being in the wild would have been exposed to. Most of you reading this will have been born and raised in "The City". But this is merely one minuscule part of the world in its entirety; you see in the real world there are no buses that come at some specified schedule, there are no "classes" scheduled at a specific time, there are no "convenience stores" placed ever so conveniently. We won't even get into things like the amount of real violence and poverty that's so widespread in the world (5/6 of the human population is in poverty); and being in poverty doesn't mean being homeless or poor and on welfare or some cushy shit like that, it means anything can happen at anytime, and you'll probably be hungry when that thing happens.
But I digress...
See the point I want to make is that these creations like education, employment, transportation, even shelter (housing) are all a trap. They have made us feel comfortable with that sense of safety and comfort that comes with them; and I would never argue against things like having a car or living in a house.
But what these creations have done is a plethora of restrictive thinking principles which plague every motherfucker alive right now.
You see, everything is all around us...
You need not go to one day of school to learn anything, if you are interested in learning, you will never get any of it done through any system of education in place right now. You gotta go out for it yourself; everything happenstance in life can be observed and learned from, you must gather everything you can on every side of every issue. (of Q-Spew)(future magazine, lawl.)...
Employment has left the most detrimental effect on society, and I don't mean you shouldn't work, because if you can get a job that pays, then go for it. The real problem lies in the fact that people have associated "money" with "job", saying things like: "I'm broke, I need a job" "Damnit I need more money, maybe I should get a second job." are all a result of this restrictive thinking that has been placed on us and these false associations of "money" with "job".
Because you see, money is simply a piece of paper. It lies in the wallets and pockets of almost every individual walking the streets. All you need to "make money" is simply to get that piece of paper from their wallet to yours. There is no official institution or some bullshit getting in your way, there is no boss to tell you what needs to be done, there is no company paying your salary or paycheck. There is simply an exchange of money, and if you can collect it at the street level, then you are a person with a mindstate of money-making. It is this mindstate that everyone from a drug dealer to the homeless guys begging for money to the window washers to the ticket scalpers know: all they have to do to get richer is get that paper from your hands to theirs. It's as simple as that.
On a side note, have you ever heard of the "Bazaar" or the "Marketplace" anytime they talk about old cities or in movies with old cities. These were the places in olden times when anyone could simply take their wares/products/services to the town center, and those looking for any wares/products/services would go to this same place. This has transitioned in the modern world to a place dominated (almost 99% of the market share) by corporations and stores and brands and chains; taking the power of supply and demand away from the people and putting in the hands of manipulative profiteering conglomerations where the value of a product is nowhere near the globalized excessive prices put on them. But fuck-a-Wal-Mart, this ain't about them, it's about us as human beings simply living our lives, forced to turn to these criminals...
Shelter is a tricky motherfucker, the simple creatures we are, we just love this simple luxury too much to understand its deepness and the level on which it changes us from simple dirty animals to simple clean animals. (lawlshowerjoke)
You see the problem I have with shelter is that it has given us a closed sense of the world; in the sense that when we arrive "home" or "school" or a "restaurant", we detach ourselves from the idea of a real world, we are no longer privy to the fact that we are simply in a cube of bricks on top of soil. As soon as we walk into our homes, we feel as if were in a zone of untouchability from the outside world. (a feeling that no one in the third-world knows) Another problem is that this has let us to believe that we aren't doing something right if we aren't doing "something, somewhere". See the world is everywhere, once again I repeat this because there is no such thing left in our world as "just chilling", even let's say "going to the park for a picnic" is a creation because why do we have to go to some man-made park with some barbeque put there for our convenience. See what people need to realize is that, once again, the world is everywhere. It waits for you on every single particle of air or stretch of concrete you see.
The simplest example of this I can make is a car ride, people usually view a car ride as a simple time killer and necessary event to go from "useful destination A" to "useful destination B", but the reality is there are no useful destinations, but fuck-a-philosophy right now, the point is that at every single stop light and on every kilometer of road you simply drove past, was a moment of life that you could have taken advantage of, anything from simply pulling over and sitting on the curb and having a smoke to getting out and lying down on the grass.
Learn to appreciate the fullness and openness of the world that we live in, try not to be a captive of these societal constrictions and let yourself be free as you were meant to be.
Enjoy the world at its best... everywhere you can.
